MÖRKTOBER 2024

So Tony and I are getting involved with MÖRKTOBER this year as part of our MÅD Borg content push, trying to get some content made for the various projects we’re working on. MÖRKTOBER is an open community event where fans make and share content for their favorite “Borgs” (see below) using a new word prompt every day to inspire their creation.

For us we’re using MÖRKTOBER to inspire the content of our coming DOOM BY ROOM Kickstarter; a spiral bound art-map book which will come with 77 wicked art-meets-battlemap “Rooms”, and a separate hardback book for with devilish encounters, roll tables and deadly “Dooms”!

We’ll be adding something new every day that is compatible with some of your favorite Borgs, including our own moder zombie apocalypse CVRSED FLESH that we’re working on alongside all this other stuff.

What is MÖRK BORG?

If you’re not familiar with the Borgs, or MÖRK BORG in particular, it is a rules light, art heavy OSR style TTRPG in a grim apocalyptic. The game runs as very player facing with the DM doing very little of the rolls (outside of utilizing the scores of random generator tables). Since then it has spurred on its own official CY_Borg, and the third-party smash Pirate Borg.
