Day 05: “Venom”

Decided to flex our Pirate Borg compatibility with Venom, albeit it didn’t start that way, originally it was just a cool idea and then when we started adding pirate tattoos into the mix we couldn’t not make it for Pirate Borg and so gave it a quick Naval Combat statblock!

We had a bit of deliberation about an venomous ink cloud, or going for spiked tentacles that spray ink, given the link to using it as tattoo ink, we think the symbology with a needle is pretty cool and so this octopus has squirty needles!

This cephlapod chap will be tweaked added to the DOOM BY ROOM bestiary when we release it, undoubtedly losing the naval combat stat block as its only relevant for Pirate Borg, but for MÖRKTOBER we think it works great!
